How to make an Origami Daffodil

SPRING IS IN THE AIR!!! :D Normally I am not a big fan of models folded from odd shape paper such as hexagons... but there must always be exceptions... like this magnificent daffodil by Ted Norminton (Classic Origami by Paul Jackson, available for less than 10US$, found diagram also online: www.flickr.com ).
